Founded in 1872, emlyon business school’s intake this year is of 8,600 students from 110 different nationalities, and of 6,000 participants in continued education. The school operates now on six different campuses (Lyon, Shanghai, Saint-Etienne, Casablanca, Paris, and Bhubaneswar). It draws on a network of 190 international academic partners and runs a community of 32,000 alumni spread out in 120 countries.

1. Do I need to speak French to join emlyon business school?

All the Master of Science (MSc in) are taught in English except the MSc in Finance which includes some French courses. 

2. What is the admission process?

Please note that we evaluate our candidates holistically. You motivation, career plan as well as your work exp. weight equally as your academic background.

Online application
The first step of the admission procedure is your online application where you will upload the required supporting documents and provide information on your academic and professional background. You can access your online application through emlyon dashboard.
 
Digital online tests
While filling out your online application, you will be asked to take digital tests using the online platform. Your tests will be evaluated by the Admission Board directly. Please note that the Admission Board can contact you directly by phone in order to have more information about your profile.
 
Admission Board
After filling out your online application and finishing your digital tests, the Admission Board will review your application. From then on, there are two possible decisions:
  • You are admitted
  • You are not admitted
You will receive an e-mail to inform you about your admission results, available on your Makersboard.
