Welcome to Luiss Guido Carli!
Created in 1974 out of the pre-existing Roman institution, Pro Deo, Luiss Guido Carli was founded in 1974 by a group of Italian entrepreneurs guided by Umberto Agnelli, leader of the Italian industry of the time. The aim of the newborn institution was to educate executives through an innovative and impactful approach, inspired by the world's top universities.
In 1977, the University was named after the director of Confindustria, Guido Carli, who became the University’s Dean the year after. His guidance led to an innovation within the educational approach of the institution, which now had a rigorous admissions process, a limit to the number of students and the inclusion of foreign languages and IT in the study plans, in order for it to be aligned with the needs of the business world.
In 1982, the Department of Law was added to the Departments of Economics and Political Sciences. Since then, the University has distinguished itself for the quality of the teaching, the dynamic environment, the strong connection with companies and the international tradition.
If you’re looking for a life-changing experience and a boost in your education and career, then Luiss Guido Carli is the place for you.
Make yourself at home!
Luiss Guido Carli is located in the heart of Rome, the cradle of culture and history, in the cozy and lively Parioli and Trieste neighborhoods.
